A trip down south Well its been a long week already. I worked till 10:30 last night and went back in at 6 this morning. Funkbobito worked was stuck at work till 3:30 last night and had to be back at 9 this morning (ah the life of retail and IT). So we were both ready for some down home comfort food. Even before I really learned how to cook, I learned how to make Biscuits and Gravy. My Mississippi born grandma taught my mom and she taught me. And if I do say so myself, I make a pretty respectable batch. I didn't feel like having to clean my grandma's old cast iron skillet so made it in the nonstick which is never quite as good. Oh well, it still hit the spot. Well since I am back in at 6 tomorrow I am heading to bed.
